Mr. Brownstone, launched in August 2017, is one of 14 Estaban Carreras brands. Mr. Brownstone is Nicaragua filler and Ecuadorian Habano binder in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. It’s available in 3 sizes including Mainline (6 x 60), Smack (6 x 52), and Speedball (5 x 54).
Matt W of The Cigar Box Indianapolis reviewed Mr. Brownstone Smack (Toro) and writes, “The wrapper is a dark almost black Connecticut broadleaf and as the cover to this “book” would suggest it’s full-bodied and full-flavor. The tasting notes continue the theme being exactly what you’d expect from a wrapper this dark, with notes of dark roast coffee, hard leather, deep earth, and hints of bitter chocolate in the background. Best enjoyed after a full meal with a stout beer or a black coffee.”
